Before making your selection of Furnace or air conditioning electrostatic filters kindly read the following.
You're one step closer to quality air.
Our standard filters are "Nominal" sizes. The actual filter frame size will follow industry standard and be 3/8" undercut, i.e. a 12 x 20 will measure 11 5/8"
X 19 5/8". The widths of the frames are 3/8", 7/8", and 1 3/4" for 1/2", 1", and 2" filters, respectively.
The best method to determine what
filter size to order is; if your current filter fits perfectly in the return air
register, then take a tape measure of the filter and use those measurements. The
size printed on the filter might not be true, they might be a nominal size.
Custom sizes are also available, please specify the EXACT dimension that you want the FILTER FRAME to ACTUALLY measure.
EPA & UL Approved
There is no undercut with custom AC/Furnace filters except for
the frame thickness..
Example: 20-1/2 X 25-3/4 x 1" will measure 20-1/2 X 25-3/4 X 7/8"
Kindly Allow 1/8" tolerance (under Cut) for custom filters on both sides.
The size you type in as your filter size is what you'll receive.
Please note: One side of the filter has to measure
24-5/8" or less. The largest size we make is 24-5/8" X 50"
Otherwise you could split the overall size to (2) 24-5/8 X 24-5/8" or (2) 12-1/2 X 50"
and stack them.
